What makes us special…
Since opening 2011, we are driven to offer a unique standard of care which exceeds parents’ expectations, offering a perfect blend of ‘home from home’ childcare delivered in a group environment.
When you leave your child with us they join our Dolphin Family, they become part of daily life and thrive in our environment. Giving children the very best environment for them to develop and grow into a confident and caring young child is our number one focus. We offer enjoyable, interesting experiences, which are key to creating a positive attitude to learning, so the emphasis is on learning through fun.
However, superhero parents aren’t forgotten after all it’s you guys who ultimately choose where to send your child so we put parent engagement right at the heart of our thinking. Parents evenings, summer sports days, all about me books, breakfast snacks and our superhero drinks machine – we aim to have parents leave their child each morning totally happy and ready for work in full confidence they have made the right choice.
Our activities…
Using the seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS); Personal Social and Emotional Development (PSED), Communication and Language, Physical Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding of the World and Expressive Arts and Design, we plan and implement a wide range of activities to develop children’s learning on a daily basis.
Click the button below to read few examples of how we would implement each area of learning across the whole nursery.
